1. The software
The Cerebrumma CLI (cerebrum) and MCP server are open-source software released under the MIT OR Apache-2.0 license. The full license text is in the GitHub repository. You are free to use, copy, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with those licenses.
2. The website
By accessing cerebrumma.com you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part, please stop using the site.
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure
- Use automated scraping that places excessive load on our servers
- Use the site in any way that violates applicable law
3. No warranty
Cerebrumma is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.
This applies to both the software and the website. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of documentation, or that the software will work for your specific use case.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cerebrumma and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software or website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
This includes, without limitation: loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or any other intangible losses. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed $0, as the software and website are provided free of charge.
5. Your data
The CLI stores memory entries locally on your machine. We have no access to your memories, code, or files. You are solely responsible for backing up and securing your .cerebrum/ directories.
6. Intellectual property
The Cerebrumma name, logo, and website content are owned by BenPeralta. The software source code is available under MIT OR Apache-2.0 as stated above. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use the Cerebrumma name or logo beyond what is reasonably necessary to describe your use of the software.
7. Third-party links
The site links to GitHub, Google, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
8. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cerebrumma operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
